The Honeywell GSAA20A1B Limit Switch, BX/BX2 Series are designed for applications in hazardous or explosive environments requiring a rugged, durable switch virtually anywhere in the world. To comply with explosion-proof switching requirements, the flame path within the switch housing is designed to contain and cool escaping hot gases and fumes that could cause an explosion outside of the switch. Honeywell GSAA20A1B Limit Switch offers two versions of the BX series switch: the standard BX Series features an aluminum housing. while the BX2 series features a 316L stainless steel housing. The stainless steel housing adds additional resistance against corrosion in applications exposed to aggressive, caustic agents, as well as those often present in chemical processing plants and off-shore/near-shore sites, also other hazardous areas. Both products are weather sealed for outdoor use and designed for explosive gas/dust environments. All operating heads of the BX/BX2 Series are field adjustable at 90° increments.

Featuring high precision and repeatability, the SM Series offers gold contacts for low-energy switching and gold bifurcated contacts for maximum reliability. Bifurcated contacts provide parallel redundancy within the SM switch. The SM switch is available for power-duty switching up to 11 A (Vac) or 1/4 HP (Vac).

Honeywell MICRO SWITCH heavy-duty limit switches’ modular construction allows for a wide variety of actuator styles, operating heads and electrical circuitry options. The plug-in versions greatly reduce downtime on production lines with high actuation rates as replacement of the switch is accomplished in seconds. The base receptacle contains all the wiring and conduit connection while the switching component with operating head easily assembles to the base and is attached with two screws. They are ideal for many applications with demanding indoor and/or outdoor environments, where they may be subjected to shock or vibration from equipment,
temperature extremes, dust, splashing water, coolant and/or hose-directed water.

Honeywell Micro Switch 1XE1 miniature sealed basic switches is design for precise and reliable position. It helps in indication of critical applications on aircraft and military systems. The applications range from military, commercial aircraft, helicopters to military land vehicles (track and wheeled vehicles) equally suitable for not only commercial but also industrial applications where a degree of environmental sealing is require.

The environmentally sealed Honeywell 1XE1 Micro Switch is design for demanding applications where water and/or particulate contaminant is present along with the potential for a wide range of temperatures. The SE Series incorporates the Honeywell time-proven MICRO SWITCH SM Series electromechanical switches in the SE housing.

The environmentally sealed miniature XE Series is similar to the SE Series except smaller in package size, utilizing the Honeywell MICRO SWITCH SX subminiature electromechanical switch. In addition, select Honeywell XE switches are MIL-PRF-8805 qualified satisfying the requirements where a military qualified or compliant switch is required.

To add to the versatility of the SE and XE family of products, CSA and UL certified products are available where the application is not aerospace or military related.

Honeywell HM hermetic sealed miniature basic switches are designed for a variety of commercial and military aircraft as well as equipment for deep space applications (high altitude requirements).
